Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in a cameo role, the film is about human emotions - love, friendship, loss and more. It delves upon the complexities of unrequited love and traces the journey of Ranbir’s character as an aspiring singer and his relationships at different stages in his life.
The film is a heady mix of typical Karan Johar melodrama, glossy locations, and universal themes. After the slight hiccup that was Student of the Year, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil sees Johar return to good, old-fashioned adult drama.
Given Karan Johar’s history with stories about human emotions, we expect this one to be high on drama but low on negativity. Going by the promos and songs, the movie is all about celebrating life and the many challenges it throws your way. Heck, they even celebrate break ups!
So how enjoyable will Ae Dil Hai Mushkil turn out to be? Stay tuned for our review.
