I’m sure you all would have read that news a few days ago that Salman Khan missed two flights back to back. And now we hear that Katrina Kaif also faced a similar situation but she luckily managed to catch the flight. For the promotions of her upcoming film Baar Baar Dekho, she was going to Indore.

As per a report in a leading daily, Katrina was running late and arrived at the airport just 30 minutes before her flight to Indore was to take off. She was to travel with co-star Sidharth Malhotra, who had arrived much earlier. Realizing she has got late, the actress jumped out of her car and ran to the entrance where an airline representative was waiting for her.

“Kat was told she’d have to make a 15-minute dash to the boarding gate if she wanted to catch the flight. And it was a sight to behold!” told an eyewitness. “As onlookers watched and wondered what was happening, the actress and the airline rep started sprinting down the airport. Some thought it was a shot, a few fans began to run alongside the actress,” added the source. But, amidst all this madness, Kat didn’t loose her cool and smiled and waved her way to the flight. She made it just minutes before the gates closed.

In July, airline authorities at Mumbai airport had made it clear that there wouldn’t be any exceptions made for the stars for boarding flights. They had mentioned that be it a star or an ordinary man, the flight wouldn’t wait for anyone. Salman Khan had to face the consequences of this rule a few days ago when he missed a morning flight. He had to wait at the airport lounge for the next flight. But, Salman didn’t loose his cool and laughed it off calling it just another bad day.
