A Complete List of Sanjay Dutt Films to Come

MUMBAI — It has been over six months since he has been free, but Sanjay Dutt, other than for a commercial, has yet to start shooting. 

Here is a check-list of what is happening on the 57-year-old hero’s professional front:

1. Siddharth Anand’s actioner, for which Dutt was even training for a while: Dropped.

2. Indra Kumar’s “Dhamaal 3”: On hold due to a disagreement on economics.

3. Shelly Chopra’s “Marco Bhau,” a feel-good father-daughter drama: Probably the first film that will take off.

4. Remo D’Souza’s action adventure “Kafala Dance Gangs”: Pre-production.

5. “Bhumi,” an emotional family drama: Pre-production.

6. A Sajid-Farhad film produced by Dutt and co-written by Dutt with two jail inmates: Being scripted.

7. Next Munna Bhai film, possibly after Rajkumar Hirani completes work with Ranbir Kapoor playing Dutt: Being scripted.

8. Hindi remake of Marathi film “De Dhakka” by Mahesh Manjrekar, director of the original: Planned.

9. “Khal-Nayak Returns,” co-produced by Dutt and Subhash Ghai, sequel to “Khal-Nayak” (1993): Planned.
