Shah Rukh Khan will soon begin shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next project with Anushka Sharma. Apart from this film, the actor has also given his nod to Tanu Weds Manu Returns filmmaker Anand L Rai’s next film. The 50-year old actor is all set to play a dwarf in this movie and this has made the plot quite interesting.
Though SRK was finalised long back, the search for leading lady was still on. However now reports suggest that Deepika Padukone has been finalised to star opposite King Khan in this film. What many don’t know is that the role Dippy has bagged was also eyed by her rivals – Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Sonam’s relation with Anand goes back to Raanjhanaa days and it was speculated that the director might finalise Sonam for this role. However things did not work out and Deepika was eventually finalised.
A few months back, Deepika had mentioned that she is missing working with Shah Rukh post Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year. Seems like the actress’s wish will soon be fulfilled.
